Web Application Development

We have strong experience in creating web applications using ASP.NET.

Our developers know the main front-end web technologies and believe passionately in designing clean, accessible and usable pages which work on all major contemporary browsers. We can also support and convert 'classic ASP' web applications into the more modern ASP.NET, can provide dedicated hosting and backup solutions.

"Do you build websites?"

Whilst we are more geared toward the development of interactive web applications which require server-side development, we are always happy to take on web projects of any size. Please get in touch and let us know what you need.

"Can you offer graphical design services?"

We normally outsource graphical design to external designers whose work we trust. If your web development project requires graphical design we would normally include these costs in our quotation.

Windows Development

We have experience in writing software for the Windows platform using .NET.

We aim to create solid, reliable applications on which you can depend, whether they be interactive forms-based applications or Windows services.

Because application development can be an involved process, we generally recommend a short phase of prototyping before development begins. This ensures that what is created meets your needs exactly, without the need for costly re-work.

"We have an old VB6 app - can you update/fix/support it?"

Of course - we retain Visual Basic development facilities and expertise and are happy to help wherever we can. We can also migrate such legacy applications to the more modern .NET platform - please contact us to find out more.

Database Design and Development

We have extensive experience designing and programming database systems, specialising in Microsoft SQL Server. We analyse your data requirements and propose effective and performant database designs, and write reliable stored procedures. We can also help you migrate Microsoft Access databases into SQL Server if required.

"Do you do data migration/cleansing?"

This is something that we occasionally offer, using either existing data transformation tools and techniques, or bespoke utilities. Contact us to find out more.

"Can you offer web-enabled database services?"

Yes - we have lots of experience in-house and can often offer database hosting as well (subject to your own requirements).

Legacy Development and Support

Though technology rolls on at an incredible pace, we recognise that many customers rely on older, 'legacy' systems. For this reason, we continue to maintain in-house expertise in select legacy technologies.

We can help migrate the following:

• Microsoft Visual Basic (VB) to .NET
• Microsoft 'classic ASP' to ASP.NET
• Microsoft Access to SQL Server
